EXECUTIVE PROTECTION

Executive Protection & Close-Protection Services Across Canada.

Discreet, credential-vetted protection for corporate executives, dignitaries, and high-net-worth individuals during Canadian travel, sensitive engagements, and family-office assignments.

Executive protection is a specialist discipline. It demands operatives with the right credentials, right temperament, and unquestioned discretion — plus the operational-planning skill to remove risk before it materialises. Our executive-protection desk delivers all three, quietly, for Canadian corporate boards, dignitaries visiting Canada, family offices, and public figures on tour.

Every engagement begins with a confidential threat assessment and a bespoke operational plan. Every operative is bound by comprehensive NDAs. Information is compartmentalised on a strict need-to-know basis — a discipline that separates real executive protection from off-duty-guard services with a fancier name.

RISK PROFILE

The challenges we solve

Discretion and reputation management

The principal's reputation is protected as fiercely as the principal's person. Overt security is often the wrong answer.

Credible threat assessment

Not every principal needs a protective detail. The starting point is an honest, credential-informed threat assessment.

Advance reconnaissance

Every venue, route, residence and vehicle must be walked in advance so nothing is unfamiliar on the day.

Family office and household integration

Household staff, personal assistants, and family principals require distinct coverage tiers.

Coordination with law enforcement

Where warranted, our team liaises with municipal and federal law enforcement on the principal's behalf.

Confidentiality and NDAs

Every operative signs comprehensive NDAs. Compartmentalisation of information is enforced institutionally.

HOW WE DELIVER

Our six-step methodology

  1. 01

    Confidential intake

A senior lead meets the principal's chief-of-staff, family office or general counsel under NDA before we quote or scope.

  2. 02

    Written threat assessment

A detailed, confidential threat profile is developed and delivered within 5 business days of intake.

  3. 03

    Operational plan

Routes, venues, residences and communications architecture are planned before the operative deploys.

  4. 04

    Operative selection

Operatives are selected for temperament, credentials, and — critically — cultural and personal fit with the principal.

  5. 05

    Layered execution

Close-protection officer plus (as required) driver, residence detail, and plainclothes outer ring, working from a shared radio net.

  6. 06

    Confidential debrief

A confidential after-action report is delivered to the client only. No shared portal, no third-party access.

FAQ

Questions our clients ask

What is executive protection and when is it appropriate?

Executive protection is the discipline of protecting an individual (the principal) from credible threats through advance reconnaissance, protective detail, and route/venue planning. It is appropriate when a principal has a credible threat profile, a public reputation that could attract targeted attention, or engagements in unfamiliar/high-risk environments.

Are your operatives armed?

Firearms are strictly regulated in Canada. We follow federal and provincial law. Armed protection is only provided where legally permissible and appropriate to the threat — which, in the Canadian context, is rare. Most Canadian close-protection engagements are unarmed.

Can you cover international travel?

Domestic Canadian travel is our standard scope. International escort is provided in partnership with vetted international EP firms who cover the specific country of destination.

Do you provide secure ground transport?

We partner with vetted secure-driver providers. Vehicles and drivers are matched to the threat profile and the principal's preferences.

How is confidentiality handled?

Every engagement is covered by comprehensive NDAs. Information is compartmentalised on a strict need-to-know basis. The after-action report is delivered to the client only — no shared portal.

How quickly can you deploy a protective detail?

Standard scoping and mobilisation is 5–10 business days. Urgent scopes (24–72 hour deployments) are possible when the threat assessment supports abbreviated planning.

Do you protect family members and children?

Yes, where warranted. Family and children coverage requires Vulnerable Sector clearance and a documented protocol respecting the family's privacy expectations.

How much does executive protection cost in Canada?

Executive protection is priced per engagement based on threat profile, duration, team size, and travel logistics. A single-principal single-day engagement typically starts at $2,500–$5,000; multi-day tours or higher-threat profiles are quoted individually.
